Adjacent Trails: At the west end, Atlantic View Trail connects to the Salt Marsh Trail, and to Blueberry Run Trail at the east end.
Partnerships and Connections: Our trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail and the Halifax Active Transportation Network. It passes through the Cole Harbour-Lawrencetown Coastal Heritage Park System. Please be aware that provincial regulations prohibit horses and motorized vehicles within the park system.
The AVTA is a volunteer group and we gladly welcome new volunteers and members. Please contact avta.contact@gmail.com for more information.
Trail Management
The trail is overseen and maintained by the Atlantic View Trail Association (AVTA), with funding primarily provided on a project-by-project basis by the Halifax Regional Municipality, the Province of Nova Scotia and the Trans Canada Trail.
We appreciate their ongoing support!
